At the recent CCXP – Comic Con Experience in Brazil – the President of Disney Pixar Studios, Jim Morris, laid out some of what we can expect from the upcoming Finding Nemo sequel, Finding Dory.

According to ComicBookMovie, the film will follow Dory, Marlin, and Nemo as they embark on an epic journey to discover Dory’s origins and parents.

Apparently, much of the story will take place in the Marine Biology Institute of California – a large complex in which marine life is studied and rehabilitated. Dory discovers she was born and raised in the research facility before being released into the wild.

Morris also revealed some of the new characters we can expect to meet in Finding Dory. There are no pictures or character biographies yet, but we do know Finding Dory will feature an octopus, sea lions, and a beluga whale among others. So far, we only know that Ty Burrell will be voicing one of these characters – a beluga whale called Bailey. Diane Keaton is down to voice Dory’s mother Jenny, while Eugene Levy will voice her father, Charlie.

Of course, there’s still the possibility of Dory, Marlin, and Nemo running into some old familiar Finding Nemo faces. We’ve already heard Gill and Deb will be making the return.

Thats all for now i’ll keep you posted !

Frozen Confirmation!

Hello all im so excited to share that there will be a new Frozen Short Film that will be out in March!!

Walt Disney Animation Studios has announced that the new animated Frozen short, called Frozen Fever, will play before the upcoming live-action Cinderella film!

frozen olaf dancing

Cinderella opens in theaters on March 13th, 2015 and Disney has confirmed that Frozen Fever will play before it! That’s only four months until we get a new fix of Elsa, Anna and the gang! Check out the synopsis for Frozen Fever below:

In Frozen Fever, it’s Anna’s birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but Elsa’s icy powers may put more than just the party at risk.
The short was directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, who were the team behind the feature length film. Fans can also look forward to the short featuring a new song by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, the amazing husband and wife duo behind Let it Go!

frozen

I cannot wait to see this new short film, and who knows, if it is the rousing success I know it will be, maybe Disney will finally confirm a Frozen 2! We can dream! ahhh

Frozen 2!

Okay so far this is a rumor that has been going around but it came from some reliable sources that there is more in store for our beloved Elsa and Anna! I’m so excited I don’t know about you guys!

olaf and sven

So the voice of Elsa, Idina Manzel confirmed that there is a Frozen 2 in the works!

Manzel was in an interview with The Telegraph were she was asked about the rumors of a possible second movie and a staged musical and she said

“that they’re all in the works, ha ha!”

FrozenActress

She plans to continue working towards the second movie, but not the stage show. Although there hasn’t been any “official” conformation from Disney yet. (But common that’s only a matter of time right?!)

But that’ not the only reason why there’s reason to believe the second movie will be coming out sooner than later. If your crazy about Disney like me then I’m going to hope that you watch Once Upon A Time (if not I strongly recommend it to everyone, on ABC!) Anyway this season which is ending next week in the mid season finally is all about Frozen, they have their own Elsa and Anna!

FrozenABC

Anyway back on track, their Elsa, Georgina Haig, spoke out about her character and the role she plays on the show. She was asked if she thought this would be the last time she put on the Elsa dress and this was her response,

“I think Disney’s making a Frozen 2, so they might have their own ideas about where the story is going,so there is all that they need to work out…”

frozenABC2

So there’s another reason for ya! Who would know better than these two Elsa’s?

Reasons for Frozen 2:

1. This movie was the highest-grossing animated film of all time

2. Frozen in the top gift for the Holidays

FrozenToys FrozenToys2

What more do you need?! This is an amazing idea, run with it Disney!

This confirmation would be a great gift for the Holidays!

Hook: Christopher Walken

Has been in way too many things to say but heres some just to name a few,

A wide range of his film credits has grossed more than $1 billion domestically, including Woody Allen’s “Annie Hall,” “Pennies from Heaven,” “The Dead Zone,” “At Close Range,” “Biloxi Blues” with Matthew Broderick, “King of New York,” 2004’s “Man On Fire,” “Man of the Year,” the 2005 comedy “Wedding Crashers,” “Hairspray,” “True Romance,” “Pulp Fiction,” “Batman Returns,” “Seven Psychopaths” and “A Late Quartet.”

Shocking News

So when I was little one of my favorite movies was The Rescuers, I thought it was so cute. Anyway it was really shocking to find out this little scandal.

On 8 January 1999, Disney announced a recall of the home video version of their 1977 animated feature The Rescuers because it contained an “objectionable background image.”

Scandalous right?! Just wait till you see the picture!

That image was one which appeared in a scene approximately 38 minutes into the film: as rodent heroes Bianca and Bernard fly through the city in a sardine box strapped to the back of Orville, proprietor of Albatross Air Charter Service, the photographic image of a topless woman can be seen at the window of a building in the background in two different non-consecutive frames, first in the bottom left corner, then at the top center portion of the frame:

resc2big resc1

So unlike other Disney films this is clearly something that was blatantly added and Disney was saying that there was some tampering with one of the copes.

As a result Disney recalled more than 3.4 million copies of the movie.

At first no one knew why the film was being recalled, Disney was keeping everything under wraps until they sorted everything out. The only thing people knew were that there were hidden items inside.

So creepy right? After I found this out I was officially creeped out and wondered how many people were watching this movie not even noticing what was in it.

Olaf Appreciation

So as I’m sure everyone already knows I love Frozen and Olaf especially Olaf, I mean common who doesn’t love him? Right? Right?

olaf nose

So this post is going to be a few little things I have learned about this lovable little snowman.

The Idea of Olaf

In very early versions of the movie, Olaf was suppose to be one of the first guards of Elsa’s palace.

I mean come on that would have been horrible right?

In order to keep him from getting too complex, Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee wanted Olaf to have a childlike innocence. Like when a child makes a snowman for the first time where the heads are never perfect, and the body is disproportionate. That was the idea for the directors when they were thinking what kids would think of a snowman.

olaf blanket

The Voice of Olaf

Josh Gad, the voice of Olaf, did plenty of improv during the course of the recording sessions. But they didn’t want him to take over the story. He is there to interject levity to the scenes. But they also gave him proper screen time. One of his major scenes will be when he sings his musical number “In The Summer.” Which common who didn’t love that song??

olaf hat

His Purpose

For those of you who haven’t already guessed it Olaf stood as a symbol of the love between Elsa and Anna

olaf and sven

So this wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t add my own little personal picture so this is my little guy Mr. Bentley and his little Olaf friend, as up can see he likes hugs too!

“A133” Mystery Revealed #5

Meaning

A1-13 was the animation classroom at California Institute of the Arts in the Character Animation Program, Cal Arts is one of the best animation schools…and a lot of the students…as they created films—short films and feature films, they’ve kind of hidden A113 in the movies.

a113

Director Brad Bird (The Incredibles, Ratatouille) was the first to use A113; he put it on a car license plate in Family Dog, an animated segment from the 1987 TV series Amazing Stories.

Going Beyond Disney

And A113 goes beyond Pixar movies. You can find it in Avengers (below), Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Simpsons and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol. It’s all around us. And obviously it’s not just a really crazy coincidence. There’s a reason it gets slipped into these movies
And that reason is the animators paying tribute to where they started their careers.

3.When Gaston is falling at the very end, there is close-up of his eyes. For a few frames a tiny skull flashes in each of his eyes. In the theatrical release, as Gaston plunged to his implied death and his face filled the screen, two frames showed skulls in his eyes. For the VHS and laserdisc release, these frames were altered to remove the skulls from his eyes. However, no such alteration was made for the DVD release. The Disney Company claims that the skulls determined Gaston’s fate as fans were unsure whether he died or not at the end.

Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas #2

Hey guys, so considering Halloween is coming up I have to do one of my personal favorite Halloween movies.

Did you know that all of his movies are connected with each other? There is even “The Burton Theory”

Each of his films being, Frankenweenie, Vincent, Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, Nightmare Before Christmas and, Corpse Bride in no correct order.

Vincents “Wife” / Sally

sally vincent wife

Vincent’s “Wife” never existed, but he insisted that he buried her alive and killed her. He tried to bring her back to life, to rebuild her.

This resulted in the creation of “Sally” who later “died” and now resides in Halloween Town.

Scraps/Sparky/Zero

dogs

Their facial structure are all the same, and all lovable! Is he the same dog in each film, thats up to you to decide.

Were-rat/ Wolfman

wolfman

He dies by Sparky’s electrical shock and then resides in Halloween Town, growing up to becomes known as the Wolfman.

Victor

victor

It is no big secret that Victor from Frankenweenie and Victor from Corpse Bride, look very similar.

The truth is.. They’re the SAME PERSON!

Did You Know?

It took an entire week of shooting to create one minute of film?

nightmare before xmas

In the original ending of The Nightmare Before Christmas the Oogie Boogie was actually supposed to be Doctor Finklestein in disguise! I don’t know how i would have felt about that.

boogie man

dr

The film was only a modest success at the box office – earning just $50 million during its run. I mean I think thats pretty good but what do I know?

jack

It is stated in “The Making of…” book that the most difficult shot to film in the entire movie is the shot in which Jack is reaching for the doorknob to Christmasland. Viewers can see the perfect surround reflection of the forest around Jack in the background.

jack ornament

It took a group of around 100 people three years to complete this movie. For one second of film, up to 12 stop-motion moves had to be made.
