So here are some things hat i have recently found out about The Lion King so check it out, I think they are pretty interesting!
1. So did you know that the movie was originally called “King of the Jungle” but Disney changed it when they realized that Lions dont live in the jungle.
2. The voices of Mufasa and Sarabi were also King and Queen inthe movie Coming to America?
3. When Simba collapses on the cliff, the word “sex” appears in the sky, but apparently it was actually “sfx” which stood for the special effects team that worked on the film but who really knows?
4. The Lion King and Pocahontas were in production at the same time and Disney thought that Pocahontas would do better.
5. Producers originally intended to have “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” to be a comical duet between Timon and Pumbaa. haha that would have been interesting, good thing they changed that one.
6. “I Just Can’t Wait To Be King” was originally called “To Be King” and it was written for Mufasa!
7. In the beginning Mufasa and Scar were not related to eachother but it was soon changed to make it more interesting.
8. Mufasa was originally not going to appear again after his death! I’m so happy Disney changed that one!
9. In some pictures of The Lion King there is a naked woman visible from behind in Mufasas’ face, can you see her?
10. Also multiple hidden Mickeys so keep your eyes open for them!
