Finding Dory

In Finding Dory, Dory will be finding herself! Pixar head revealed some plot details!

At the recent CCXP – Comic Con Experience in Brazil – the President of Disney Pixar Studios, Jim Morris, laid out some of what we can expect from the upcoming Finding Nemo sequel, Finding Dory.

According to ComicBookMovie, the film will follow Dory, Marlin, and Nemo as they embark on an epic journey to discover Dory’s origins and parents.

Apparently, much of the story will take place in the Marine Biology Institute of California – a large complex in which marine life is studied and rehabilitated. Dory discovers she was born and raised in the research facility before being released into the wild.

Morris also revealed some of the new characters we can expect to meet in Finding Dory. There are no pictures or character biographies yet, but we do know Finding Dory will feature an octopus, sea lions, and a beluga whale among others. So far, we only know that Ty Burrell will be voicing one of these characters – a beluga whale called Bailey. Diane Keaton is down to voice Dory’s mother Jenny, while Eugene Levy will voice her father, Charlie.

Of course, there’s still the possibility of Dory, Marlin, and Nemo running into some old familiar Finding Nemo faces. We’ve already heard Gill and Deb will be making the return.

Cars 1 & 2

1. The pizza planet car from Toy Story makes an appearance in the crowd in both Cars 1 and 2

2. In Cars 2 there is a “Cars” version of the tapestry from brave hanging in the background

3. The movie playing in Cars 2 is The Incredimobiles, their own version of the Incredibles

4. In Cars 2, when in Paris, a vehicular version of Ratatouille’s Gusteau’s Restaurant can be seen, called ‘Gastow’s’.

5. All of the cars racing in the Piston Cup in Cars have Lightyear Buzzard tyres, which is obviously a reference to a certain space ranger, who doesn’t love Buzz?

6. Mike and Sulley From Monsters Inc. make a guest appearance

7.In the movie Cars , Lighting McQeen dreams of being the sponsor for Dinoco. Dinoco is also the gas station in ‘Toy Story’ where Buzz and Woody get on the car to pizza planet.

Monsters Inc.

Hey guys! Next movie to tackle was Monsters Inc. as you can see, here are just some things I know and have picked up on but there are many more then the few I have listed here so keep your eyes open!

1. Did you know that Pixar conceived the idea for the films Monster Inc., Finding Nemo, A Bug’s Life, and Wall-E during one lunch meeting in 1994?

2. Boo was originally written to be a six-year-old but was then changed to a toddler to seem more dependant on Sulley.

 

3. In the original scrips Sulley was written as a janitor not a scarer and Mike was a nonexistant character! Well I have to say I’m happy they changed that one!

4. There are 2.3 million individual strands of hairs on Sulley!

5. Boo’s real name is Mary!

6. This was the Pixar film to have a blooper reel during the end credits

7. Jessie from Toy Story 2 appears in the end of the film

8. Near the end, Sulley throws Randall through a closet door into the human world. The place he ends up is the trailer that was in Bug’s Life, and the Pizza Planet truck from Toy Story is parked out front.

9. One of the monsters can camouflage himself, and at one point he blends in with sky/cloud wallpaper from Andy’s room.
